Some say stress is a factor, others say it's the foods we eat, or the combinations. There are many that do eat healthy diets, and exercise as well, yet they continue to battle the forces of excess weight.

We're not just talking about how good you look. Weight issues are health issues as well. Excess weight is hard on the heart, and can increase the level of toxins and artery clogging substances in the blood stream.

We are carrying toxins and many foreign substances that can cause harm to our body. The human body is highly intelligent. It knows a threat when it sees it. How does our body protect itself? Our body will respond to those substances it cannot release through urine and perspiration, and encase them with fat.

How did we get there, to that point of creating fat cells to protect ourselves? How did those toxins find their way into our bodies in the first place? There is no one-line answer to that question, for there are many factors that contribute to the conditions in which we live.
