Hunger is our body signal to warn us that it need energy. It is a good thing when it occurs in that respect. However It can be a negative signal when it make us eat more than we should; that is overeating. If we do not control all this, at the end of the day, this will result in weight gain for us. In fact one of the, most difficult challenges facing most people when trying to lose weight is to control their hunger. Only once you have learn to control your hunger urges will you be on your first steps to a successful weight loss plan.
1. Appetite suppressants: People often ask me whether appetite suppressants really work or not. Truth to be told, I have found from my research that most of them don’t work at all! Plus many of the popular appetite suppressants can have harmful side effects on your body. The only appetite suppressant I would recommend is Hoodia, firstly because it is completely natural (being made form the Hoodia cactus), and secondly, it has worked for me! I would recommend that you stay way from any diet pill that contains caffeine or any other stimulants!
Hoodia comes in either pill form or powdered form. Personally, I find the powdered form works best. Perhaps, this is because the powdered form is more readily absorbed into our body. To prepare the detox drink, take One teaspoonful of Hoodia Powder, mix it with one cup of water and some lemon juice. Be forewarn, the taste is not to everybody liking. As for myself, I literally force it down my throat.
But there was one major advantage of following this technique. I could go on fasting for an indefinite period, say twenty, or even forty days, and feel no hunger pangs! Absolutely amazing, isn’t it?
2.View your hunger Pangs in a Positive Manner: Do not regard hunger in a negative manner; as punishment to be put up with. They are just signs that your body is purging the toxins within the fats of your body. When your body starts to remove these harmful toxins, this will help you to lose weight.
If you can stand to control your hunger for 2 weeks approximately, you are on your way to losing weight comfortably. However, please note that you should not fast more than two weeks. If you still continue to fast after two weeks, you might end up being anorexic. The important thing is to ensure that you adopt a good lifestyle and not go back to the same bad habits which cause you to gain weight in the first place.
