We have begun to see over recent years that our society has been really hard bit by an illness which has been around for years…alcoholism. As pressures grow on us and there always seems something to worry about in todays modern consumer society, this deadly disease lets rip on us.
So now that alcohol is so easily available, the possibility of escape is so much easier, although the action of escaping your problems will only make them worse…we all know that. People will in fact become even more depressed and as a result will end up drinking more, the problems get bigger and you will just begin to lose track of what really is the problem in the end as the cycles continues.
This sad chain of events will only lead to a certain addiction to alcohol for anyone who is just unable to deal with a problem that life sometimes throws at you. There now exists a real problem and one that is not going to be as simple to deal with. We are now not just looking at a lack of social skills abilities, we are now going to have to deal with a serious health condition, one that kills.
The alcohol that we choose to deal with our problems will now pass down our throat and into the stomach, and from here it is absorbed into the blood stream and will then pass into the liver. This organ is responsible for breaking alcohol into a variety of chemicals.
The subsequents functions of the liver will turn these chemicals into h2o and co2, which are then just excreted from our organism. This all sounds quite simple but this function bears a lot of strain on the liver to produce such changes. The problem begin though when even more alcohol is consumed as the liver is not able to deal with it. The result being that the alcohol level in our blood will begin to rise.
