Anti Wrinkle Cream Or Surgery - Which Will You Choose?

by Ellen Jones

As we all know, everyone ages. Nobody can stop time, after all. As we get older, certain things will happen. Energy loss, hearing loss, sight loss and, of course, skin aging, are bound to become issues for many of us.

Wrinkles are a huge problem facing an aging population today. Unfortunately, too much sun and not enough nourishment to the skin over the years can cause it to get an aged and weathered appearance, which includes the onset of wrinkles.

Some people are just determined to look younger. They can’t stand the appearance of wrinkles. Such people can often resort to surgery, to achieve a younger look. Most, though, try wrinkle creams either instead of surgery or before resorting to surgery. The trouble is that not everyone has success with wrinkle creams.

There are two main types of wrinkle creams. How well they work is still a subject that is open to debate. The first type is actually meant to heal and nourish the skin. By providing the nourishment that the skin needs to heal, it is said to help clear up wrinkles and make a person’s skin much stronger. By regenerating and healing the skin, it can give the skin a much younger appearance.

Then, there’s the second type of wrinkle cream. This anti aging skin care product is really more of a patching product. It’s good for a spur of the moment event where a person wants the fast appearance of clear skin. It’s designed, much like makeup, to simply cover up a person’s wrinkles, not to actually revitalize the skin.

If you want to explore other anti aging skin care options, besides just creams and lotions, though, don’t worry. There are plenty to pick from. Botox injections, for example, might seem more appropriate to you. Botox injections are designed to stretch the skin properly and give it a fuller, healthier look.

Cosmetic surgery is another option for wrinkle removal. Cosmetic surgery is meant to stretch out the skin, by removing some skin and pulling the rest together. You should only consider it as a last effort, though. Any surgery at all can be risky and expensive.

Every anti aging skin care technique is different. So, it’s important to factor in everything, including how permanent the solution is, what the cost is and what the risks may be. Once you choose the best wrinkle removal technique for your particular needs, you can turn back the clock and look much younger and healthier.
