The secret about “The Secret” is that it’s no secret. No, I’m not being cute with a play on words. Basically, the secret is that whatever we think manifests itself in our lives. It is called the “law of attraction.”
The Secret is used by world class athletes to achieve their gold medals and their championship trophies.
Let’s look at how we can put “The Secret” or the Law of Attraction to use in helping us shed our excess pounds and achieve our weight loss goals. After all, whether you know it our not, you used the law of attraction to get to where you are today. Yes, those tight clothes were attracted by you.
Did you know that “The Secret” can be used by you to create your perfect body and to lose the weight you’ve been wanting to lose?
Our thoughts today become our reality tomorrow. If we allow our thoughts to focus on bad things, then those bad things will enter our lives. We are attracting them to us.
Yes, it’s true: whatever we think about we become. If we think about and obsess about ice cream, then we become the ice cream person. I’m sure you’ve seen how obese people eat. They eat that way because they’ve been dreaming about the food.
So how does this apply to weight loss and a new thinner you?
It goes like this: a thin, fit person thinks about those things that will make him or her thin or fit. When a thin, fit person fantasizes, it is about the run they’re going to have at lunch time and how good it’s going to make them feel. So that thought becomes their reality. They go have a run at lunch and they feel good afterwards.
Contrast this with the thoughts of a fat person. Usually the fat person will obsess about food, hunger, (or worse) how bad they look or feel. So what is a fat person’s reality? More food, more hunger, and bad looks or feelings.
Observe the thoughts in your head right now after reading that last paragraph. Come on. Write them down. Force yourself to look at the programming running in your head.
Put “The Secret” to work for you. Write down and visualize yourself being thin, feeling fit, and enjoying exercise.
Whatever you can conceive and believe you can achieve. If you can see a new thin you, then you can become a new thin you. You have to “see it” first in your mind.
Control your thought and you will control your life. Use the law of attraction to attract the body you want and need.
