Vitamins are something everybody needs to stay alive let alone stay in optimum health. Vitamins are important for the way everything functions in your body. An under nourished body is one that will get frequent infections and illnesses, some of these can be life threatening.

Vitamins will help your immune system stay strong for when it is needed. Your immune system is part of your body’s natural defense against infections, illness and disease.

  • Vitamin A, D, E and K are all fat soluble vitamins which basically means they get stored in your body’s fat so they don’t need to be taken every day. The 8 B vitamins and Vitamin C are water soluble vitamins so you lose these continually through the day, so they need to be replenished regularly.

    Your diet

    If you eat a diet high in fruit and vegetables with enough fish, eggs and red meat you will get more than enough of your daily requirements of the necessary vitamins. Not everyone eats a diet high in these foods so you need another way of supplementing your diet with these essential vitamins.

    Vitamin supplements are not all the same

    The only way to do this is to purchase vitamin supplements either online or in your local heath food store. What you have to watch out for is the quality of the products. We live in an age where you only get what you pay for, and that’s no different when it comes to buying your vitamins.

    You can go out and buy some vitamin pills for a few cents a pill. The problem with these pills is they’re probably not worth taking. They are not designed for your body to digest, and have been known to pass through your body, and be eliminated in the same condition in which they were swallowed. Many people crush their pills but the dust that is left is still difficult for your intestines to digest.

    Liquid vitamins

    Liquid vitamins ( although more expensive ) have by for the best absorption rate. The liquid is easily absorbed by your intestines so the vitamins get to the parts of your body where they’re needed most.

    Having a body filled with vitality makes the difference from living life to the full, and always happy and energetic, or living life always tired, and waking up not looking forward to the day ahead.
