While you sit there hating every minute that you see their striking figures, you might actually be silently asking yourself: How did they lose their baby weight that quick?

In addition, celebrities really don't like the idea of sitting around doing nothing when they could be out there making millions of dollars - so they basically pull out all the stops and more, even investing in home gyms that cost upwards to the tens of thousands of dollars.

Rather than sit there and think about these celebrities and their successful weight loss, start focusing on yourself. Be careful in exercising.

No matter what anyone says, the only ways to lose baby weight fast (or any other kind of excess weight, for that matter) is to either lessen your calorie intake, or quicken your metabolism through exercise. Better yet, do both. But since you'll need to take care of the baby, you can't go to the gym. But hey, it's not all bad - carrying a baby around is hard work! Also, doing chores like washing baby clothes and keeping the nursery clean counts as exercise. You'll lose all that baby weight in no time.

Watch what you eat.

Include in your diet food products that contain low-fat alternatives - it helps in speeding up your weight loss. Eat more foods like vegetables, fruit, and whole grains - avoid food with empty calories like junk food, sugar, and soda. In fact, you need 500 more calories than normal for breastfeeding, so you shouldn't pressure yourself to lose that entire extra pound quickly.

High energy level comes first before losing weight.

With the birth of your baby, you need all the energy that you could get to keep up with the demands required on taking care of your bundle of joy. Also, you should keep in mind that it takes 3-6 months for your body to return to its normal state - by then, you'll get used to your baby's new habits. If you focus all your attention and energy on taking care of your baby instead of losing your baby weight quickly, you'll drop the extra weight naturally and gradually.

There's no hurry for you to quickly lose all that baby weight just to survive - that's only true with celebrity moms who need to lose as much as 30 pounds of baby weight quickly. Above everything else, what's best for your baby should always come first and that means you make him your priority. If you do the right thing from the start, all the good things in life will follow.
