Exercise During Your Candidiasis Recovery Phase

Now the weather is warming up I can go out for bicycle rides again. There was a time though, when I simply couldn’t manage to do this form of exercise that I love doing on warm mornings.

Candidiasis made me too lethargic

When I was suffering from my recurrent yeast infections, and was suffering severe symptoms, I just didn’t have the energy to get out on my bike. The Candida yeast just made me too lethargic to do any form of exercise.
Also the exercise while sitting on the bike saddle wasn’t doing my vaginal yeast infection any good either. A bike ride makes it the perfect warm moist place for the Candida to run riot. So back then it had to stop.

Exercise on your recovery phase

Exercise, if you can manage it is so important during the recovery phase of your yeast infection/candidiasis. It gets the blood flowing and helps with the detoxing. You skin is your largest organ, and when you sweat your body releases toxins through your skin.
You don’t have to go out and start running marathons. A brisk walk is perfect way to start a new exercise regime, and you will feel a lot better for it afterwards.

Keep at it

If you’re at the point where you can’t exercise yet, as many women are, just stick to your anti Candida protocol, and you’ll soon be back to good health and fitness. I admit I was at the point when I thought it was never going to get any better but it did with time, discipline and focus.
It’s not impossible to get back to your original health, it just takes some people longer than others due to the nature of yeast infections/candidiasis.
Get well soon.
