Extreme Vaginal Itching

Someone mentioned the other day that she had no other symptoms except extreme vaginal itching. While this is a yeast infection symptom, asking someone through an e-mail conversation is no way of a correct diagnosis.

Always see your doctor

You will notice that throughout this blog and in my “Cure Your Yeast Infection Naturally” ebook that it is not stressed enough that everyone should see their doctor first for a diagnosis. The internet, a book or an email from any expert is not going to give you a correct diagnosis.

Candida yeast test

Your doctor will take a swab of the infected area and then see if the bacteria present is that of a yeast infection. Even if you think you have a yeast infection from the symptoms it could still be something a lot worse, and the longer you leave a correct diagnosis the higher the risk to your health.

Wrong diagnosis

A wrong diagnosis could mean that the treatment your using for a yeast infection could just be masking the symptoms of…

  • Vulvitis
  • Chlamydia
  • Gonorrhea
  • Bacterial vaginosis
  • Urinary tract infection

If you one of these bacterial infections when you suspect you have a yeast infection you could run into the danger of damage to your reproductive organs.

A doctors diagnosis is so important for your health. If you have any sign of symptoms please see a doctor first. After it has been made certain that you have a yeast infection you can treat it how you wish.

Don’t let self diagnosis, the diagnosis of a book or someone giving you advise over an email conversation ruin your health.
