Sugar And Candida


I was out shopping a couple of hours ago, and I’m still amazed at how much sugar people still consume. I’m probably just jealous really because our anti Candida diets forbid any kind of sugar no matter what form it comes in.


Some people are very fortunate to be able to go through life enjoying the pleasures of sweets and cakes, and never get one yeast infection. But on the other side of the coin these people could still be a lot healthier if they cut the sugar out of their diets. That was one of the things that kept me going in the early stages of my anti Candida diet.

It’s difficult at first

Any diet is difficult to stick with at first whether it’s to improve your health or help you to lose some weight. To cut out something like sugar, a food that everyone consumes on a daily basis, and is a substance in a lot of processed foods, is hard to do.

Even down to drinking milk which contains simple carbohydrates can be difficult. I know it was a drink that I consumed every day for years. It was suppose to be healthy. That’s what the “Got milk” ads tell us.

Feeling better

Once you start to feel better though you’ll be glad you cut the sugar out of your diet. The brain fog disappearing is a life changing experience. When you have the brain fog you forget what it was like to never have it, and when it goes your world changes.

Work becomes easier, and those household jobs that were hard work become an enjoyment again. Living is just a much more enjoyable experience. You start to achieve more, and your new found health rubs off on the people around you.

Stay with the diet

If you’re now at the stage where you are giving up the luxuries in life like chocolate, bread, biscuits and cakes, I know how you feel. But your health is so important to you, and your well being improving is an amazing feeling. Getting back to how you once was, and then improving on that is well worth the effort in the long run.
